Liminalis Method™ in Practice Series
The Five Stages
Perception → Pattern Recognition → Nervous System Stabilisation → Transformation → Integration
Pattern Recognition is the second stage of the Liminalis Method™. It is the process of sensing and understanding where energy has become stuck or frozen within the client’s body and subtle energy system.
During the first stage, Perception, the practitioner uses Remote Viewing techniques to connect with the client and receive initial impressions.
During Pattern Recognition, Medical Intuition becomes particularly important.
The practitioner begins to explore the information received and identify the emotional and energetic patterns behind it.
Identifying Frozen States
One of the main purposes of Pattern Recognition is to identify Frozen States.
Frozen States are old emotional and energetic patterns — a form of old programming — that may have developed through past experiences and continue to influence the person in the present.
In energy healing, these patterns have traditionally been described as blockages.
Within the Liminalis Method™, we use the term Frozen States because we do not see them simply as blockages that need to be removed.
They are states that need to be recognised, understood and transformed.
A Frozen State may have developed in response to childhood experiences, relationships, grief, fear, prolonged stress, illness, family patterns or other significant experiences.
The circumstances may have passed, but the emotional and energetic pattern can remain.
Where Do We Sense Frozen States?
Frozen States can be perceived within different areas of the person’s body and subtle energy system.
During Pattern Recognition, practitioners may assess:
- the aura
- chakras or energy centres
- organs
- different parts of the body
- body systems
- areas where energy appears restricted, depleted or changed
Practitioners learn about energetic anatomy and develop their ability to recognise different energetic qualities within these areas.
For example, an energetic pattern may be perceived around a particular chakra, within the aura or in association with a particular organ or body region.
The purpose is not to medically diagnose a condition.
The purpose is to recognise where energy appears to have become frozen and what emotional or life experiences may be connected with that pattern.
Connecting Frozen States with Past Experiences
Frozen States do not appear without a history.
They are connected with the person’s experiences, emotions and ways of adapting to life.
A practitioner may therefore explore questions such as:
When did this pattern begin?
What was happening in your life at that time?
What emotions were you experiencing?
Does this feeling remind you of an earlier experience?
Where else in your life have you experienced this pattern?
Through this process, the practitioner and client begin connecting the energetic pattern with the experiences that may have contributed to it.
But identifying the Frozen State is only part of Pattern Recognition.
Something else is essential.
The client needs to become aware of it too.
Helping the Client Sense Their Own Frozen States
The Liminalis Method™ is an active form of healing.
The practitioner does not simply tell the client, “You have a blockage here,” and then attempt to remove it.
Instead, the practitioner guides the client to bring their own awareness to the area where the Frozen State has been perceived.
The client may experience it as:
- pressure or tightness
- heaviness
- numbness
- discomfort
- heat or cold
- an emotion
- a visual image or colour
- a sense of emptiness or disconnection
Everyone experiences energy differently.
The important point is that the client begins to sense and recognise their own pattern.
The practitioner may guide them by asking:
“What do you feel there?”
“What emotion comes up?”
“Does this feeling remind you of something?”
“When have you felt this before?”
Gradually, something that was previously unconscious begins to enter conscious awareness.
Why Client Awareness Is Essential
This is one of the most important principles of Pattern Recognition.
The practitioner can perceive the Frozen State, but the client needs to become aware of it for the healing process to move forward.
The client is therefore not a passive recipient while the practitioner does all the work.
The practitioner guides.
The client senses, recognises and participates.
This awareness prepares the client for the next stages, when the Frozen State can begin to change.
From Recognition to Transformation
Pattern Recognition is about making the invisible pattern visible.
Through Medical Intuition, the practitioner assesses the client’s aura, chakras, body, organs and energetic patterns and identifies where energy may have become frozen.
The practitioner then helps the client sense and recognise that Frozen State for themselves.
Practitioner awareness alone is not enough. Client awareness and participation are essential.
Once the Frozen State has been recognised by both practitioner and client, the healing process can move towards stabilisation and, ultimately, transformation.
