What Happens During Pattern Recognition?

Liminalis Method™ in Practice Series

Pattern Recognition is the second stage of the Liminalis Method™.

During the Perception stage, the practitioner gathers information through focused awareness, intuitive observation, and Remote Viewing principles. Impressions, sensations, emotions, images, and other forms of information are collected without interpretation.

Pattern Recognition is where these observations begin to form meaningful patterns.

The practitioner combines intuitive perception with knowledge of energetic anatomy, Medical Intuition, and advanced energy field scanning to understand what the information may be revealing about the client’s current state.

Learning the Language of the Energy Field

Within the Liminalis Method™, practitioners learn that different areas of the body carry different energetic qualities and signatures.

To recognise patterns accurately, practitioners study:

  • the major energy centres (chakras)
  • the energetic qualities associated with each chakra
  • energetic representations of organs and body systems
  • energetic qualities of muscles, bones, connective tissues, solid organs, and hollow organs
  • common energetic patterns associated with imbalance and disease

Over time, practitioners learn to recognise recurring energetic patterns that appear across many clients.

Just as a physician learns to recognise physical symptoms, a practitioner learns to recognise energetic patterns.

Advanced Energy Field Scanning

Once preliminary information has been gathered, the practitioner may proceed to advanced scanning.

This can involve observing:

  • the energetic field surrounding the body
  • individual energy centres
  • specific organs and tissues
  • areas of energetic congestion or depletion
  • regions where energy appears restricted or stagnant

The purpose is not to diagnose disease.

The purpose is to identify patterns that may be contributing to the client’s current experience.

These patterns help guide the next stages of the session.

Identifying Frozen States

One of the primary goals of Pattern Recognition is identifying Frozen States.

Within the Liminalis Method™, a Frozen State is a place where energy, emotion, perception, or adaptive responses have become held in a protective pattern.

These patterns may have originally formed in response to stress, shock, trauma, conflict, loss, fear, or overwhelming life experiences.

At one time they may have served a protective purpose.

Over time, however, they can become fixed and restrict the natural flow of adaptation and healing.

Frozen States can occur in:

  • organs
  • body systems
  • muscles
  • connective tissues
  • energy centres
  • specific regions of the body
  • multiple locations simultaneously

Some clients may have a single dominant Frozen State.

Others may have several Frozen States that interact with one another.

Helping the Client Sense the Frozen State

An important aspect of the Liminalis Method™ is that the practitioner does not simply identify the Frozen State for the client.

The client is guided to sense it directly.

This process can occur during a Zoom session or an in-person session.

The practitioner uses questions, observation, and guided awareness to help the client bring attention to the area identified during the scanning process.

As awareness increases, the client may begin noticing sensations associated with the Frozen State.

For different people, this experience can feel very different.

A Frozen State may be experienced as:

  • a numb area
  • a dark area within the body
  • a sensation of heaviness
  • pressure or tightness
  • discomfort
  • emptiness
  • disconnection
  • an emotional reaction
  • a place that feels difficult to access or describe

There is no single correct experience.

Each client perceives their Frozen States in a unique way.

Why Client Awareness Matters

The practitioner can observe and guide, but lasting change begins when the client becomes aware of what is happening within their own system.

Recognition creates a bridge between unconscious patterns and conscious awareness.

When a client can sense a Frozen State directly, the pattern is no longer completely hidden.

It has entered awareness.

This awareness becomes the foundation for the next stage of the Liminalis Method™.

From Pattern Recognition to Change

Pattern Recognition does not attempt to change the Frozen State.

Its purpose is to identify it, understand it, and bring it into awareness.

The practitioner recognises the pattern.

The client learns to sense the pattern.

Together they establish a shared understanding of what requires attention.

Once this has occurred, the system is ready for the next stage of the process: Nervous System Stabilisation.

Only when the body feels safe enough can deeper reorganisation begin.
