The Difference Between Medical Intuition and Intuitive Healing

by | Jun 9, 2026 | Medical Intuition & the Mind-Body Connection

People often use the terms Medical Intuition and Intuitive Healing as though they mean the same thing.

While they are closely related, they serve different purposes within the healing process.

A simple way to understand the difference is this:

Medical Intuition helps us perceive and understand.

Intuitive Healing helps us facilitate change and transformation.

Within the Liminalis Method™, both are important, and they often work together.

However, understanding the distinction between them helps practitioners develop greater clarity when working with clients.

What Is Medical Intuition?

Medical Intuition is the practice of perceiving information about a person’s health, wellbeing, emotions, life circumstances, and energetic patterns that may not be immediately visible through physical observation alone.

Medical Intuition seeks to answer questions such as:

  • What patterns may be influencing this person’s wellbeing?
  • Where has energy become frozen?
  • What emotional influences may be contributing to the current situation?
  • What adaptations are still active within the body–mind system?
  • What is the body attempting to communicate?

Medical Intuition helps practitioners observe and understand.

It is primarily a process of perception and insight.

Within the Liminalis Method™, Remote Viewing principles support Medical Intuition by helping practitioners develop a calm mind, focused attention, and the ability to perceive Subtle Body Energy with greater clarity.

What Is Intuitive Healing?

Intuitive Healing focuses on supporting change within the body–mind system.

Once patterns have been recognised, the next question becomes:

How can healing occur?

This is where Intuitive Healing begins.

Within the Liminalis Method™, Intuitive Healing involves helping individuals recognise Frozen States, stabilise the nervous system, support energetic reorganisation, and integrate previously disconnected experiences.

The goal is not simply to understand a pattern.

The goal is to help the person move beyond it.

Intuitive Healing is therefore primarily a process of transformation and integration.

Understanding the Difference

An easy way to understand the difference is to think of Medical Intuition as gathering information and Intuitive Healing as working with that information.

Medical Intuition helps identify:

  • Energetic patterns
  • Frozen States
  • Emotional influences
  • Areas of imbalance
  • Potential barriers to healing

Intuitive Healing helps:

  • Restore energetic flow
  • Support nervous system regulation
  • Integrate unresolved experiences
  • Release outdated adaptations
  • Facilitate transformation

Medical Intuition asks:

“What is happening?”

Intuitive Healing asks:

“How can change occur?”

How They Work Together

Although they are different, Medical Intuition and Intuitive Healing are closely connected.

Medical Intuition often provides the understanding that guides the healing process.

Intuitive Healing provides the methods that support transformation.

One without the other may be incomplete.

Understanding a pattern does not necessarily change it.

Likewise, attempting to create change without understanding the underlying pattern may limit the effectiveness of the healing process.

Together, they create a more complete approach.

The Role of Subtle Body Energy

Both Medical Intuition and Intuitive Healing work with the Subtle Body.

The Subtle Body consists of Subtle Body Energy — the life energy that supports awareness, perception, adaptation, healing, and transformation.

Medical Intuition helps practitioners perceive the energetic patterns held within the Subtle Body.

Intuitive Healing helps support the reorganisation of those patterns when they have become frozen or restricted.

In this way, both approaches work with the same system, but from different perspectives.

The Liminalis Method™

Within the Liminalis Method™, Medical Intuition and Intuitive Healing form two complementary aspects of the same process.

Medical Intuition helps practitioners perceive and understand.

Intuitive Healing helps practitioners support transformation and integration.

Together they help individuals recognise Frozen States, understand the deeper influences affecting their wellbeing, restore the flow of Subtle Body Energy, and move through healing as a process of transformation.

Two Parts of the Same Journey

Medical Intuition and Intuitive Healing are not competing approaches.

They are two parts of the same journey.

One helps us see.

The other helps us change.

One brings awareness.

The other supports transformation.
Together, they provide a deeper understanding of illness, healing, and the possibility of becoming a new version of ourselves.

Within the Liminalis Method™, healing is transformation.
